So, this is a wee carry on from an old post, about an NGO called Pacific Peoples Partnership, and their annual Fundraiser.....but I'll just drive into this new one.....
A proposition to you folks out there: We are looking for new and used skateboards and surfboards to be donated to this here, our cause! These boards will be revamped, and custom painted by local, outstanding artists...and later auctioned off in a crazy frenzie to the highest bidder!
All funds raised through the events will go to support the climate justice initiatives of Pacific Peoples' Partnership, supporting Indigenous partners in Polynesia and Melanesia who are being forced to adapt to catastrophic climate change.
So, if you'd like to be apart of that, and have a board lying round that you feel you could part with....or a guitar! Someone just said guitar! Brilliant! We would be more than happy to take them on, and rock them into something new!
