Our Sound parties have been legendary in Vancouver for their serious down to business badass bass styles. This time round we bring tha sound to thy fair town of Victoria (which we love so much).
You may remember these Lighta! bad boys from Bass Bottoms 1 & 2, Scratch My Glitch Up! and Proppa Sessions. Mr. Max Ulis has wrangled them up along with the sickest duo from the west coast to bring you what will be the HAWTEST night of 2009! This rock star needs no introduction. Last seen in this city last summer droppin tha glitch. This time round he will slay us all with his pointy stache and dubsteppin tracks. Always a pleasure to see perform, his mixing is tight and he gets REALLY into his sets which are usually accompanied by frenzied dancing and flying dreads.

MAX ULIS || LIGHTA! // SUB OSC
One of the BC’s leading proponents of British grime and dubstep, producer Max Ulis has been pushing his dubstep and glitched out digital dancehall sounds up and down the west coast. Some of the hottest and sexiest dancefloors we've seen have been while mr.max has been slayin 'em. If you were at Bass Bottoms2 then you'll know what we mean. Max has appeared alongside the likes of Kode 9, Skream, Benga, Hatcha, The Bug, Dj Vadim, and the legendary Remarc. Look for Max’s vinyl and digital releases this year (if we should be so lucky)

Brothers Ben and Joshua Searles are the DAEGA Sound System. A Live PA and DJ duo they are pushing the deeper end of the dubstep sound. Described as "deep and heavy, intricate and spacious" they are unlike any other producers making dub step at the moment. Their productions are attracting international attention and getting play on some of the biggest radio shows in the biz with support from Mary Anne Hobbs on BBC 1, Rob Booth from Electronic Explorations and Joe Nice's Gourmet Beat. Get ready for a journey to the depths unknown goodness.
